Service Description

With the UK exit from the EU, and the UK now being part of the common transit convention (CTC) - see how transit procedures could benefit your business. This course is created to provide you with the principles, process and guidelines for using customs transit - a customs special procedure. On successful completion of this topic, you will be able to independently handle standard and more complex situations and related tasks relating to Transit, including external and internal transit. This includes having a broad understanding and detailed knowledge of the following concepts and systems and being able to apply and use this knowledge in your daily activities as a Customs professional: Legislative Provisions You will gain a detailed knowledge of the legislative provisions relating to Special Procedures in general, and Transit in particular. Moving Goods throughout the Community You will gain a broad understanding and detailed knowledge of the processes and procedures associated with Transit, including external and internal transit. This comprises a detailed knowledge and understanding of requirements relating to placing goods under the transit procedure, including the associated formalities such as completing and lodging a transit declaration and presentation notification. Transit Systems You will gain a broad understanding and detailed knowledge of the processes and procedures associated with the various transit systems. Roles and Responsibilities You will gain a clear understanding and knowledge of the respective roles and responsibilities associated with the Transit procedure.
